A good work . It is recorded in History how Alexander envied the army of Andhras when he fought Magadha. Even in Mahabharatha there is reference to Andhras who fought on behalf of Kauravas. Having visited East and West parts of the world and various Museums we can safely conclude Telugu is oldest language. Because DMK is supporting Congress, for political reasons UPA Government declared Tamil as oldest language. This is not because of any Historical evidence or study.

Another Example Ve Va ji - Currently 99% of Vedas is unavailable and most probably we have lost the knowledge - People know that it happened because they were limited to a sect of people who failed to pass the knowledge onto the next generations and the other sects - It would be definitely immature for somebody to say thousand years down the lane 'Some Dravidian Fanatic destroyed Vedic Literature and thats why we dont have any info on 99% of Vedas!'

Hey Vevaji, Loooong time - How are you? Well well Death of a language is different from the destruction - Take for instance - Not many people in India speak Sanskrit today - Does it mean that somebody destroyed the language? A langauge may die due to many reasons and even in case of Brahmi script, there has been no evidence of people destroying it. I totally agree Telugu is different to to take it further, recent studies state that Telugu is older than Tamil! It is an independent language too - Yes I agree .. but the issue of discussion here is (You will have to go thru all the discussions/fights happened between me and Kakulavaram in atleast a dozen threads) - He claims that Telugu literature before Nannayya is not available because somebody burnt it - My point is burning manuscripts dont kill the literature or make it invisible for centuries altogether - The case you are mentioning is totally different ... I am not talking about a langauge fading away because of natural reasons - I am specific about destruction by force - I cant believe it because there has been no case in History ( Atleast as far as I know - I will stand corrected if I am proved wrong) wherein a few people could destroy the literature (ironically, belonging to their own language) completely!
