Where is the freedom?

Bomb blasts, strikes, hartals, bandhs etc have been increasing in the recent years in India. Recently in Pondicherry for instance, there were bandhs in protest against the deteriorating humanitarian conditions of innocent tamils in srilanka. Earlier there were protests and bandhs for 1. the rise of prices and 2. By a political party for attacking the convoy of its leader. Some other recent violent incidents are as given below: 1. In Mumbai, the Maharashtra Nav Nirmansena attacked a group of students from Bihar and north India, who were sleeping on a railway platform to appear for a competitive examination the next day morning. In retaliation for this brutal attack, some students in Bihar burnt train compartments and were responsible for causing some commotion. 2. In Assam many people were killed due to the bomb attacks by some terrorisi organisations. This was followed by two days bandh, in protest against the central government's inaction/soft attitude towards terrorism. 3. The Tamilnadu former C.M. Jayalalithaa's convoy was attacked by some unidentified mob. 4. In Jammu and Kashmir, not a day passes without a single terrorist violence. 5. The left ruled states Kerala, West bengal and Tripura observed bandhs in the recent months to protest against rising inflation. 6. Karnataka, Orissa and Gujarat faced the problem of communalism in the recent months. Chronology of major bomb attacks since 2003 in India : March 13, 2003 - A bomb attack on a commuter train in Mumbai kills 11 people. Aug 25, 2003 - Two car bombs kill about 60 in Mumbai. Aug 15, 2004 - A bomb explodes in Assam, killing 16 people, mostly schoolchildren, and wounding dozens. Oct 29, 2005 - Sixty-six people are killed when three blasts rip through markets in New Delhi. March 7, 2006 - At least 15 people are killed and 60 wounded in three blasts in the Hindu pilgrimage city of Varanasi. July 11, 2006 - More than 180 people are killed in seven bomb explosions at railway stations and on trains in Mumbai that are blamed on Islamist militants. Sept 8, 2006 - At least 32 people are killed in a series of explosions, including one near a mosque, in Malegaon town, 260 km northeast of Mumbai.
