Read these buyers ( NRI’S) Story: Our vacations to India typically are an equimix of spending time with family, friends and searching around for right and reasonable investments. The developers are like the above African Lions waiting impatiently for the NRI Gazelles to prey and pounce on. Recently after some research, we booked two apartments in Repose, high tech area at a rate of 3000 Rs per sq feet. We gave checks for Rs 1 Lack as a token advance. The rate was finalized with Mr. ASif Ali and the remaining 9 lacks for each apt to be payable within a week. They waited till we transfer money, when we went back, they said the new price is Rs 3200 per sq feet. If we add all the amenities the price may add up to Rs 4000 per sq feet. The prevailing rate in that area is Rs 2500/sq feet excluding amenities. They say the committee decided the new price, so nothing can be done, We would love to know, who are serving on the committee. How can you jack up the price without grandfathering the commitments? What is the guarantee that they would not use Lime in place of cement, fiber wood in place of teak and substandard materials for construction. I would like to know what type of quality control systems they have in place. What if they start saying that we would just give bare walls and everything from toilet seat to kitchen faucet is an upgrade. My advice to all of you is, they have no track record but grabbed some prime lands in and around Hyderabad and will be on rampage. Our rating at this point is 3 out of 10 and the repose square feet price is only worth only Rs 2500, that too if they can verify quality by a third party evaluator. Their cavalier attitude irritated us, as per theory of chaos; a small butterfly’s whisper in Japan brought an avalanche in Swiss Alps. Why can’t a small goliaths like us bring them to their knees?. We fervently urge all the NRI’S and other investors to fully support this campaign. They are not worth more than 2500 Rs per square foot, trust us, we did enquire and found some in that area for 2600 to 2700. Please email us, we will forward that information.
