We (Me & my colleagues), went for an jolly tour (excursion of sort, we usually go a new place every year which is sponsored by our company). This happened in 2004 July. All of us went for a tour to “Ooty – Mysore – Bangalore”. We reached ooty by 6 P.M. As usual the climate was very cool & every one was shivering. All the people thought of having Scotch. As I am not a drinker, I got a cool drink to accompany them. That was the day , I thought that “ Nenu Kuda vaalatho kuda taagunte baagundedi ani”. Let me tell what happened
All were having Scotch and had very good dinner. I took only cool drink (Thums UP). A colleague of mine had an overdose and started talking unrelevant things (which is usual with overly drunken fellows). It became very difficult for all of us to control him. In the night around 11:30 PM Finally he vomited all he had making the room ugly. Me along with other 2 colleagues , cleaned the room as the others were sleeping. After cleaning the room, we slept. There were no blankets for me to cover & sleep. All the people slept & used all the blankets. I was not able to sleep because of excessive cold & I was literally shivering. I did’nt sleep the whole night. That was the day I regret for not drinking.
Even now I remember the incident and laugh at myself.
