I am writing this article to convey that, in which ever position you are in at present never forget ur roots. Even in Personal or Professional life. Let me tell about my professional life When I joined my organization (even know I m in the same Org) in 1995, I did’nt even know how to operate the system. Thanks to my boss, for helping me out. 10 years back our organization was a small one, with only 2 employees. He used to scold us, of not learning how to operate a system. (Aa titlu naku deevana laaga ayindi). After that, I learnt how to work on GIS softwares. This too is because of my sir. Me used to make us learn & do works. In the initial days of my professional life, I struggled a lot. We used to work non – stop to complete a project. Let me tell you one instance , we did’nt go home 4 ten days, when there was an urgent work. Our boss gave us 3 day off after the work. In 1997, I was assigned a very toughest job, that is teaching. Those days I was not a fluent speaker, or never gave any seminar’s in my college days. I had stage fear. I think u remember by Article “ Boss who changed our lifes”. That incident happened. Let me tell u onething, in emergency / urgency, My boss turns to me for doing the job for him. Even if it was doing CAD operator job or any technical job or Tender finalization. This has become a huge asset to me. Because of him only I am at this stage. I never said No to him. One of my colleague said to me that , sir has a huge confidence in me & he said to my colleague that I never say NO to any job assigned. Even if it is new one. If any new assignment is entrusted to me, I take it as a challenge & complete it. 1month back we were recruiting people. One day my sir called me & asked, whether I could go & do the operator job till new people are recruited. I said Yes. This may sound self dabba to some people. But what I thought is even after reaching this level, we should not forget our roots. Give ur honest comments on this article about my statement. “ Never Forget ur roots”
