Dear Dr. JP,
A good day to you.
You have been watched by many and the way you speak is liked by many. This is a one way communication. You need to make it two way. Publicise your website in a creative way among all house-wives, students, IT Professionals, Employees working in various industrial organisations(both public and private) and govt departments.
Reach out, by leveraging IT, to as many as you can!. This is the manthra and Loksatta can make all other political parties to RUN for their votes...
Here is another idea. With your networking and influence if you can convince the Chief Election Officer of this state to open polling booths in all strategic locations like Big Company premises, Multi office complexes, Corporate Offices, PSUs and Govt offices, etc. the voter turnout would be great and it would drastically increase the % of valid votes.
The voters' apathy is not a new thing I can share with you. In order to remove this the only way is to provide to these voters the physical facility in a proximate way to vote. Still some more people are yet to include their name in voters' list. You can help them through your website.
I regret that Loksatta is not as active as it should have been by now.
