After waching the sunset at Rock memorial I wondered how peacaful it had been to Vivekananda when he maditated there. The travel to the rock had its own place, the weather was wonderful and at 100 Km speed the the breeze toucing our faces we enjoyed it. But then the way back also was good. It had already become dark and there were so many stars above, it was so wonderful.
The next morning we woke up, got ready and were waiting for the Tata sumo in which we travelled. There were two peacocks running around in the compound. One went behind the tree and my sis was looking for it but it already jumped out of the wall.. the other one was around but was a female. Once I took a snap of a peacock dancing in the Nehru Zoological park. Also in the Ramana ashram where we went some years ago the peacocks come so near when you are in the asram and dance in front of you..
On the way to Rameshwaram we saw many peacocks openly moving around and saw many new birds in different colours. I remember taking video of parrots on one of the temples that we saw... The templaes are so big I should mention here no wonder to have a subject on their construction and engg behind it.
And then on the way to Rameshwaram we were going on a bridge with water on both sides which connected to the Rameshwaram. Rameshwaram is like an island a bridge connecting to it. We halted and looked at the water body for a long time. Then we went to the seashore where 3 seas meet. Arabian sea, Indian ocean and Bay of bengal. It's called Dhanushkoti. (we have a song Kotinadulu Dhanushkotiloo nundaga..) The waves so high we were standing more than 5 ft from the sea level..
We enjoyed seeing the waves some people got into the sea and started playing. But we were frightened to do that the waves were so high. We started playing with the sand making some constructions with the sand. I have seen on Tv, people making castles out of it. One day I will make a snow man also...
Then we went to the ghat and saw the temple. Also Had a look at Seturam bridge.
Its been more than an year don't remember too much details... so I think from here we went to Tanjore. Since childhood I had been thinking of going there once. As Playing veena is my hobby I have a Tanjour veena with me. They say Tanjour veena is more good as compared to Nujuveedu & bobbili.
