KALYANA MANDAPAM AT KAKARAPARRU . It is with pride that we are sharing this information on the developments in Kakaraparru village. The Kalyana Mandapam has shaped up very well with new age Tiles and attractive paintings. The compound wall is under construction as of now and slated to be completed by end of May 2014. It is the magnanimity of all those who have supported this noble cause and not to forget the mammoth effort by Mr. Charla Rama Chandra Murthy (Rampandu), which made this a reality. Rampandu could create a History with the unflinching support from all the villagers of Kakaraparru and we expect this continued support to create more land marks for Kakaraparru in future by him. The good efforts will continue into the future to make Kakaraparru one of the best Villages. The leadership of Rampandu is working very hard to achieve the objective. Now the good news is that all those who would like to visit Kakaraparru in the future years can contribute to build rooms on the first floor of this center (Of course, the names will be mentioned for respective donations for the rooms). It is not necessary for enthusiasts and Kakaraparru lovers to stay in Hotel rooms outside the village and this would not only facilitate the donors but also to others who are one time visitors or in frequent visitors to the village. All are welcome. If you have any clarification in this regard you can contact the following Gentlemen. 1. Charla. Sri Rama Chandra Murthy 9989351811 2. Vedula Venkatesh 9848165974 3. Dwibhashyam Jaya Sadguru Murthy. 8185826618 We are planning to organize a village get together programme to mark the official inauguration of the Kalyanamandapam. We will keep all posted on further developments. Best Regards, Siva prasad Charla (Chitti)

Dear All, The activities in and around Kakaraparru will be now faster and dynamic as the Main approach Road to village has been sanctioned with the estimated cost of Rs.60 Lacs with the efforts of Charla Sri Rama Chandra Murthy.( Vice President) However complicated, is the mechanism of beaurocratic and political system, it is the imperative that when a few people approach with clean and truthful ideology, the whole system responds positively. Our primary objective is to develop our Village KKP by contributing what we can, based on the remarkable history and culture of our village. The repayment of this gratitude will not only give us satisfaction and happiness but many generations to come will be benefited with these good deeds. Attn: Akundi Suryanarayana: It is unbelievable to note that you are in USA from 1999. Your English is full of mistakes. Pl first learn how to read, write, speak correct English and then attempt to start communications with Kakaraparru people.

Dear All, We are not encouraging to have new temples (other than our culture) / Revenue Generating Trust or Body. We have to continue the legacy of our culture and tradition of Kakaraparru, which we inherited besides materialistic properties. The following are few events which upkeep our great ancestral culture. 1. Ganapathi Navaratrulu 2. Devi Navaratrulu 3. LakshaBilwarcharna 4. Nagara Sankeerthana 5. Bhajans. (Ekaham / Saptaham) 6. Veda Sabha In order to do these activities year after year, we needed a common facility where we can also complete Annadanam for the participants after each event. As we require a common facility for all these events we have proposed a kalyana Mandapam and got the permission / sanction from AP Govt. We have plans to display photographs / portraits of all scholars from Kakaraparru and also books, so that they are remembered at every event at Kalyana Mandapam. We are looking at upkeep of our village culture and bring the talent of Kakaraparru in to limelight. Siva Prasad Charla (Chitti)

Dear All, I Siva Prasad Charla eldest Son of Sri. Charla Bhaskara Rao known as Chitti of Kakaraparru would like to share with you the following. Because of the love and zeal to work for Kakaraparru (Punya Bhoomi) to protect our Tradition and Culture my younger brother Charla Sri Rama Chandra Murthy Known as Rampandu stayed back at Kakaraparru with my parents and he has become close friend and adviser for all Communities of our Village. Some of the beneficial things he could achieve and some of the Projects are under progress for Kakaraparru with his influence, details as follows: 1. All Temples renovation completed. 2. New bridge in place of old narrow bridge near High School (over the canal) completed and inaugurated by Ex. Chief Minister Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy. 3. WBM Road (short cut to Peravali) completed. 4. After lot of persuasion by Rampandu, 300 eligible people were granted Pension facility form the AP State Govt under the Scheme of BPL (Below Poverty Line) 5. Arogyasri Cards for 600 people from all communities already sanctioned from the A.P State Government. 6. Completed the project of 300 houses (under the scheme of Indiramma Gruha) for all those who are downtrodden. 7. Completed the project of Public Toilets at three places with a sanction of Government under the scheme of CSL (Community Septic Latrines) 8. We are educating all on the concept of ISL (Individual Septic Latrine) and working towards getting sanction from the A.P State Government for the same. 9. In spite of the efforts the villagers still continue with the traditional system of open toilet adventure and need lot of education and support to adopt to the ISL system. 10. Proposal was sent for Rs.30 Lakhs, to construct a road from Main Road to Village, waiting for Grant. 11. Kalyana Mandapam construction project is in progress. Land was donated by Sri Narasimhadevara Gouripathi Sastry(Jaggaya Garu) For this project Rs.5 Lakhs he got sanctioned from Sri Undavalli Arun Kumar, Member of Parliament & Rs. 5 lakhs from Sri Peethani Satyanarayana, Minister for Social Welfare. All the likeminded people can come forward to contribute and become part of developments of Kakaraparru. We thank one and all for all the support extended to us and we will keep you posted on the developments on regular basis. Siva Prasad Charla (Chitti)
