Ex ANGRAU VC IV Subba Rao passes away Hyderabad, Aug 14 (INN): Former Vice-Chancellor of the Acharya NG Ranga Agricultural University IV Subba Rao passed away on Saturday morning due to cancer.
Dr Subba Rao was 75. He died while undergoing treatment for the dreaded disease at the Indo American Cancer Hospital. Dr Subba Rao was among one of the most respected agriculturists in the country and this was evident when the Government conferred the prestigious National Award 'Padmashri' in recognition of his valuable contribution for the development of Agriculture in the country in 2002.
He was also the recipient of numerous other awards
Dr Subba Rao also had the distinction of serving as the Vice Chancellor of the ANGRAU twice.
