NATS- GWTCS Symposium successfully held North America Telugu Society in association with Greater Washington Telugu Cultural Society successfully conducted South Asian Youth Symposium in White House. Both the organisations made a good use of the opportunity and the event got a over whelming response. The Symposium began with the American national anthem and later White House public engagement senior Associate Director Jockey Bar Jingi gave the welcome speech. Symposium coordinator Rao Linga executed all the programmes in a well planned manner.
Serious debates and discussions were held on various topics like career and leadership development, harassment in society, bullying K12 and also on the initiative of Michelle Obama- Lets Move movement. Experts shared their valuable suggestions and key information related to education with the students. White House senior officials Javed Hasan, Bespie Chan, Rukku Singla, Millianil action project President Steven Olikara, Vinay Tummalapalli, Ajitha Menon, Mario Cardona, David, NATS President Mohana Krishna Mannava and other officials attended and shared important information with the youth. NATS also unveiled a souvenir on the occasion. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie appreciated NATS for successfully organizing the mega event.
Rao Linga, Srinivas Maddhali, Mohan Mannava, Ramesh Nuthalapati, Radhika Gunturu, Padmini Nidamolu, Praveen Nidamolu, Jayasri Peddibotla, Kavitha Enigandla, Pavan Bejawada, Ashok Anamalasetty, Sanjeev Naidu, Kamaraju, Anand, Anand Nayak, Lakshmi Linga, Bapayya Chowdary and Srinivas Chowdary played a key role in the successful conduct of the Symposium.
