TPJAC asks KCR to resolve Sugar Factory issue Hyderabad, Jan 12 (INN): Telangana Political JAC chairman Prof M. Kodandaram on Thursday demanded the State Government to take steps to solve the issue of Nizam Sugar Factory at the earliest.
Speaking to media persons, Kodandaram said that the state government has 49 per cent stake in the NSF and hence it should initiate steps to revive the factory to help the workers who lost their livelihood. He demanded the government to pay salaries for all workers due for 13 months. He said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has informed the Assembly that there were no contract staff in Singareni Collieries which was wrong.
Prof. Kodandaram said that the JAC will organize meetings to discuss issues like open cast mining in SCCL, reservation for Muslims and issues concerning student community.
The JAC chief demanded the state government to solve various issues with a humanitarian concern.
