Korean Exim Bank loan for Vizag Metro Amaravati, March 6th: Korean Exim Bank offered a loan of 4,100 crore for Visakhapatnam Metro Rail Project. A team led by the Bank Operational Director met Amaravati Metro Rail project MD Ramakrishna Reddy and Chief Secretary Anil Chandra Punetha.
State government has sent the Vizag metro rail proposals to the Central government and the Central government has contacted Korea Exim Bank, said the public relations department of Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday.
State government is seriously committed to the Vizag metro rail project and we would like to utilize the loan, said Punetha at the meeting. Punetha requested the Korea Exim Bank officials to release the loan at the earliest possible.
