Jewellery shop burgled, ornaments over Rs 30 lakhs stolen
Vijayawada, Aug 31 (INN): Unidentified miscreants targeted a jewellery shop at Kambhampadu, Konduru mandal in Krishna district and decamped with gold and silver ornaments worth around Rs 30 lakh. According to reports, the unidentified burglars broke the locks and lifted shutter of Harika Jewellers and decamped with the gold and silver ornaments worth around Rs 30 lakh, which includes one kilogram of gold and silver ornaments weighing more than 30 kg.
The theft was detected early on Tuesday morning after the shop owner arrived to open it. He immediately informed the police who arrived on the scene and began to search for clues. A CLUES team was pressed into service. Investigations are still on.
