ACB raids APHCL EE residence East Godavari, Dec 29 (INN): Anti Corruption Bureau sleuths on Wednesday conducted raids on the residence of Andhra Pradesh Housing Corporation Limited Executive Engineer Kakinada and unearthed property worth Rs one crore. According to ACB Inspector Ramakrishna, ACB officials conducted raids on the residence of APHCL EE Badri Tara Chand and unearthed property worth Rs 35 lakh which is disproportionate to his known sources of income. Raids unearthed assets like two buildings one each at Srikakulam and another at East Godavari , fixed deposits of Rs 10 lakh, net cash of Rs 2 lakh, gold ornaments worth Rs 4 lakh and other articles worth Rs 25,000 were seized from their possessions. Market value of the seized assets was estimated to be more than one crore.
Simultaneous raids were also conducted on the residences of his colleagues DE Narasimha, assistant manager Suresh and other relatives at Srikakulam, Amadalavalasa, Kakinada and other places. Earlier Badri Tara Chandra was earlier caught by ACB officials while accepting bribe from a person for doing an official favour.
