Two students killed as bus turns turtle Kurnool, Dec 31 (INN): At least two students were killed and ten others suffered injuries in a road accident which occurred at Narsapuram village, Rudravaram mandal in the district. According to Sub-Inspector Sub-Inspector Srinivasulu, the incident occurred when a speeding Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation bus driver lost control over the vehicle and hit a road divider. The impact turned the bus turtle. The impact also left two of the students travelling in the bus dead on the spot while another ten were left with minor injuries. The victims were rushed to Allagadda Government Hospital.
Mr Srinivasulu revealed the identities of the victims as Nageshwara Rao (20), a B Com final year student. The name of the other student coincidentally was also Nageshwara Rao (18), an Intermediate CEC first year student. He added that in preliminary investigations they came to know that bus was not technically in a good shape. Police has registered a case under section 304 (A) IPC against driver for rash and negligent driving and further investigations are on.
