Oakridge got its first expat Principal Hyderabad, 12th November, 2014: Oakridge International School's largest campus ' Newton campus, Gachibowli has welcomed their first expat Principal ' Gustav J Gropp.
Gustav ' a true leader and mentor in the world of education brings to Oakridge, a rich 35 years of global experience ' his journey starting withSouth Africa through Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, Tanzania and Kenya, to the land of the pyramids, Egypt. Venturing even further, to the United Arab Emirates, United States of America, Jordan and Oman, only to find a new home in India, ready to share his experiences and learn from Oakridge community.
His versatile pedagogy in education management is just one of the examples to the ultimate credibility he has brought to the Oakridge philosophy. Gustav holds an M.Ed in Curriculum Design, a B.Tech.Ed in Education Management, a PGCE in Education Mentoring, a BA.Hons in Industrial Sociology, a BA in Social Sciences, and a HDE in Primary education. He is a certified International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program (DP) administrator, Middle Years Program (MYP) administrator and Primary Years Program (PYP) administrator.
In his last assignment, Mr.Gustav has established and led a new IB Kindergarten to Grade 12 Campus in Abu Dhabi successfully for years.
