JACTO stage dharna in ongole Ongole, November 21: Teachers associated with the Joint Action Committee of Teachers Organisations (JACTO) of Prakasam district have staged a dharna in front of the collectorate here on Thursday demanding the government to solve the teachers problems.Joint Action Committee district convenor P.Srinivasa Rao attended as the chief guest for dharna.
Joint Action Committee district chairman Bandi Srinivasa Rao said that JAC will discuss with the government to achieve teachers service rules. He demanded that PRC should be given with the fitment of 63 percent.
BJP State Leader Battina Narasimha Rao said that the government must give top priority to solve teachers problems immediately.
JACTO State leader Ch. Sravan said that the government should release the orders to increase the retirement age for the aided teachers immediately and also demanded that all the aided grants should be released by the government at the end of the february.
JACTO State leader Peterson demanded that the notional increments should be given to the teachers who worked at 398 rupees.
APNGO district convenor Sharat babu, leaders Nasar Mastanvali, RCH Krishna Reddy, A. Shambha Reddy, JACTO leaders D. Koteswara Rao, S. Venkateswarlu, APUS state coordinator Balarama Krishna, BSP district coordinator K. Erraiah, N. Bhaskar, Nagamalleswara Rao, Yallamanda, P. Sitaramaiah, Ch. Prabhakar Reddy and other took part in dharna. Later they submitted a memorandum to the DEO Vijay Bhaskar.
