Officials inspected newly merged colonies in Ongole Ongole, December 3. Town planning officials of Ongole on Wednesday visited ten villages which were recently merged in the municipal corporation to prepare Master Plan for the next 30 years.
Urban development specialist Resina led the team. The team interacted with the local people. The team along with the assistant city planner Y.T.R. Chandrabose visited Pernamitta, Vengamukkapalem, Gudumilla, Throvagunta, Dasarajupalli and Mukthinutulapadu villages.
They came to municipal corporation of Ongole and explained the steps taken to prepare proposed master plan for the next 30 years.
Mr Chandrabose said 'After merging 10 villages, municipal corporation area increased to 1,30,000 square metres from 25,000 metres. We have to update the city map first. with the roads, tanks, agriculture lands, industrial areas and residential areas'
