KTR invites Dubai to invest in Telangana Hyderabad, Dec 14 (INN): Information Technology Minister K Tarakarama Rao on Sunday urged the investors of Dubai to start their projects in Telangana State.
KTR, accompanied by Pradeep Chandra and Jayesh Ranjan of Telangana's Industries Department and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) delegation led by Arun Chawla, conducted an 'Investors Meet' at Hotel Crowne Plaza in Dubai on Sunday. The meeting was well attended by over 100 investors in Dubai.
The new industrial policy was explained in the meeting. The special advantages like abundant land availability, fast track clearances, additional incentives, etc. that are offered in Telangana were discussed in detail. Many of the investors showed tremendous interest in investing in Telangana State. Most of them have interest in sectors like Textiles, Food processing, mineral based industries, bio-technology and other general engineering. A few investors have also shown interest in infrastructure development in industrial parks and industrial townships.
The investors meet was organized by FICCI with the cooperation of India Business and Professional Council (IBPC), Dubai and Consulate of India in Dubai. Also the other members present on the occasion were Paras Shahdadpuri, President, IBPC and Anitha Nandhini, Consul Commerce from The Indian Consulate, Dubai.
