Five arrested with 1.5 kg gold in RGI Airport Hyderabad, Jan 12 (INN): Illegal gold imports are raising as the price gap between the Indian and International markets are increasing. According to the RGI Airport customs officials, on the early hours of Jan 12, the RGI Airport Custom Officials seized 1.5 Kg Gold concealed in the garments of five passengers.
Among the five Mir Imran is a native of Bangalore. Mohammed Ali, Abbas, Mohammed Ashraf, Shaik Sayeed are residents of Hyderabad. All the five passengers are coming from Thailand to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad on Jan 12th early hours, customs officials said.
All the five passengers have been arrested and the gold is seized. Investigation is going on to find out who is behind this gang of five passengers, said RGI Airport customs in a press statement.
