Karthikeya release postponed Nikhil and Swati starrer Karthikeya has been in the news for one reason or the other ever since it was announced. The film which was schedule to release on August 1 has been postponed by three weeks and will now hit the screens in the last week of August.
Though Nikhil remained unavailable to confirm this news, according to an insider, the film is a bilingual made in Tamil and Telugu and is important that both hit screens at the same time. Hence, the makers have decided to release the film on August 29.
This is not the first delay in Karthikeya's release; it was earlier postponed from December 2013 to a later date due to unavoidable circumstances. The film revolves around a closed temple located in the border of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu and also showcases how a medico played by Nikhil unravels the mystery surrounding it.
Directed by debutante Chandu Mondeti the film has music by Sekhar Chandra. Tanikella Bharani, Rao Ramesh, Vennela Kishore and Tulasi are playing pivotal roles in this thriller that is being produced by Venkat Srinivas.
