Hanmakonda-Bhupalpalli belt viable for industrial belt Warangal: A total of 31,334 acres of land has been identified as the viable area for industrial expansion in Warangal district. As part of the proposed industrial corridor between Hyderabad and Warangal Highway, the revenue officials conducted a survey in the district and submitted to the government, highlighting the essential factors for the industrial expansion in this region.
The survey was conducted by officials soon after Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao announced the industrial corridor proposal on the highway. The revenue officials have also submitted a detailed viability report on Hanamkonda-Bhupalpalli belt.
Presently, the industrialization is covered in Bhupalpalli Singareni Collieries belt. Now, officials have mooted the proposal of extending the coverage into new zones.
The long pending proposal of a Railway coach factory is also viewed as the prime industrialisation subject and the revenue wing has submitted the report, saying the requirement of about 500 acres of land that can be acquired on the Kazipet-Station Ghanpur section.
Similarly, the proposals for textile apparel park and leather park were also made in the industrial expansion policy. The survey, which was conducted in five revenue divisions, felt that decentralization of industrial expansion would help the district to take on the development path.
