GAV falls short of expectations The much-awaited Govindudu Andari Vaadele hit the screens globally on Wedesday as a Dasara special for Telugu audience. Morning shows have finished in many places and the final verdict was out.
According to initial reports GAV is not in the reach of expectations because of thin storyline and regular narration. The movie may not do well in mega bankable areas of B, C and D centers as it doesn't have any mass alluring elements.
Dialogues are attractive but lack of comedy is a big draw back. Slow first half tests the patience of viewers. However the film's story is routine and goes on predictable lines. It lacks the thrills and frills of a commercial entertainer.
According to trade reports Kajal sizzled with her skin show in some of the scenes. Her romantic chemistry with Ram Charan was excellent. Srikanth was at his best as Bangari. He was very active and energetic in his role.
Prakash Raj proved he is an ultimate performer for this kind of roles.
'Govindudu Andarivaadele' is the kind of film we always expect from Krishna Vamsi. It's based on family values and human emotions that have been missing in Today's busy lifestyle.
Though the story isn't afresh, it's the screenplay which makes you glued to the screen. The movie mostly may end as an average grosser because of holiday season.
