Ram Charan returns 3 crore! Why? Mega Power Star Ram Charan Govindudu Andarivedele had great expectations before release. Though few section of audience weren't too convinced with content of movie, families and mega fans have helped the movie crossing Rs 40 crore collections in two weeks worldwide.
However, 40 crore collection for Govindudu Andarivadele seems to be less for the distributors and exhibitors to enter into safe zone. The producer of the film Bandla Ganesh entered into profit zone but lot of distributors of Govindudu Andarivadele have lost close to 20-30 percent of their investments.
Ram Charan has returned 3 crores to Bandla Ganesh and asked him to adjust that money to the distributors who lost some of their investments made on Govindudu Andarivadele.
It seems Charan was feeling bad for his distributors and so he decided to return part of his remuneration. The buzz is that Charan gave 3 crores so distributors can salvage their wounds with a little ease.
Lack of promotions is one of the reasons, Hudhud cyclone is other major reason for collections to drop since few days for GAV.This is the third big ticket film which caused loss for distributors where as other two were Mahesh Aagadu and NTR Rabhasa.
Meanwhile, the Film Chamber is working on a new system to make sure losses are shared by the people who got benefitted with huge pay packages. The new proposal include heroes, heroines and filmmakers who were charging more than Rs 1 crore as remuneration only gets some amount as fixed remuneration prior to the release.
