Vikramarka condemns Dy CM's claims on Dengue Hyderabad, Oct 24 (INN): Deputy CLP leader in Telangana Assembly Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Friday strongly condemned the denial made by Deputy Chief Minister Dr T Rajaiah on the incidents of Dengue and viral fever in the State.
Speaking to media persons in the Congress Legislature Party office here, Vikramarka said his cousin sister recently died of Dengue while one doctor of Bhadrachalam too was killed due to the disease. He said several children are admitted in various hospitals due to Dengue.
Moreover, TRS MLA Rasamayi Balakishan himself is undergoing treatment for Dengue in Yashoda Hospital. Several cases of Dengue cases have been reported in the mainstream media and it is strange that the Deputy Chief Minister is openly denying such cases.
Vikramarka said that being a doctor himself Dr Rajaiah should have reviewed the situation and ordered precautionary steps to prevent the spread of the killer Dengue and other viral diseases.
However, he said that the Deputy CM has been simply denying the reports. He demanded that he State Government take immediate measures to stop the spread of Dengue across the State.
