Swetah Basu gets relief from court In a big relief for actress Swetha Basu Prasad, who has been lodged in a state home in connection with a decoy operation conducted by city police to bust a sex racket, the Nampally court on Wednesday ordered her immediate release from state home.
Its known that Swetha is presently lodged at the rehabilitation centre after being caught in prostitution recently. Swetha Basu Prasad's mother filed a petition in the court seeking her daughter's release from state home. Swetha's mother told the court that they would look after their daughter with much care in future.
Court after hearing the plea of Swetha mother agreed to release the actress from rehabilitation centre. As per the rules, the court has examined a report on the financial condition of the family of Swetha before giving its verdict on the same.
Recently, the court rejected Swetha's mother petition seeking the custody of her daughter. However, Wednesday's court order has come as a big relief for the beleaguered actress. She is expected to leave the rescue home by today itself.
Ever since she was caught in a prostitution racket, sympathy has been pouring in for the lady from various sections of society. A Bollywood film maker offered her a role and asked police to present the man caught with her instead of over exposing the woman that he felt as victim in this case. They sympathized with her after it was found that she was forced into prostitution due to lack of finances.
