Two more Congress MLAs may join TRS Hyderabad, Oct 30 (INN): Two more Congress MLAs of Telangana are preparing to join the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi.
Chevella MLA Yadaiah and Dornakal MLA Redya Naik on Thursday called on Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao at his camp office. During the hour-long meeting, the Congress MLAs have reportedly given their consent to join the TRS.
Neither the MLAs nor the TRS leaders disclosed the details of their interaction with the Chief Minister. However, sources said that both the MLAs have agreed to join the TRS in near future.
If both the MLAs join the ruling party, then the strength of TRS in Legislative Assembly would increase to 73. So far, 10 MLAs belonging to Congress, TDP, YSRCP and BSP have switched over to the TRS.
