Central team visits 'Hudhud' cyclone affected districts Hyderabad, Nov 26 (INN): The Central Team on Wednesday began its tour of areas affected with Hudhud cyclone. The Central Team got divided into two with each visiting two affected district.
While one team will assess damages in Visakhapatnam and East Godavari, another team will enumerate the losses in Vizianagaram and Srikakulam. The team has already assessed the damages occurred to Visakhapatnam Fishing Harbour.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had already directed the officials of power, agriculture, irrigation, municipal administration and Panchayati Raj departments to prepare the reports of damage to crops, properties, poultry, marine industry and other infrastructure as well as the amount spent on relief and restoration works.
Those reports are being handed over to the Central Team. The State Government officials will also brief the Central team on the amount disbursed for crop insurance, enhanced relief (amount) provided to victims of Cyclone and other budget used for restoration works.
