AP CM attends meeting on solid waste management in Singapore Singapore, March 30: Mr. Loh Ah Tuan, Strategic Advisor to Centre for Liveable cities (CLC) made a special presentation to the Chief Minister on their efforts to reduce and recycle waste in the country.
The presentation emphasized on the importance of recycling and the efforts that go into reducing waste production.
CLC follows dual-process of waste collection and waste disposal which will function in recycling the waste. Mr. Tuan noted that while some waste in the country is burned, most of the produced waste is recycled.
Impressed with the country's efforts to reduce waste, the Chief Minister also enquired about how this technique could be localized in India and implemented in various municipalities of the state.
