Two killed, five injured as lorry turns turtle Hyderabad, May 21 (INN): In a tragic accident, two persons were killed and five injured when a bore-well rigging lorry turned turtle near Gowrelly village on the Hayathnagar-Bacharam stretch on Thursday morning.
The labourers who were killed have been identified as Kishore and Sharma, both native of Chhattisgarh. The condition of one labourer, who was injured in the accident and admitted to Kamineni Hospital, is said to be critical.
According to police, the incident occurred when the driver of the bore-well rigging lorry lost control over the steering wheel after the vehicle's front tyre got burst and overturned. While Kishore got buried under the lorry, Sharma died while undergoing treatment at the hospital. The lorry was heading from Tarmati and going towards Cherlapally when it met with the accident.
The police have registered a case under Section 337 (causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others) and 304 A (causing death by negligence) of the IPC and started investigation.
