Five killed in road accidents Hyderabad, June 19 (INN): A seven-year-old girl died of injuries which she suffered after she was hit by a motorcycle while crossing the road.
The deceased, S Shailamma of Vikas Nagar, met with the accident near Shalivanahana Nagar area on Thursday evening. She was admitted to a private hospital where she died a few hours after admission, according to Malakpet police.
In another case, Ajay Prasad, 22, died of grievous injuries which he suffered after he was hit by a lorry in Mailardevpally police limits on Thursday night. He was immediately rushed to Osmania General Hospital where he was declared brought dead. He was a labourer of an oil company and native of Bihar.
In a similar case, N Sudhakar, 45, died on the spot after he was hit by a lorry near Chaderghat crossroads on Thursday night. He was government employee and residence of Mallikarjunagar in Amberpet.
In a different case, 44-year-old A Hari succumbed to the injuries which he suffered after he was hit by an auto-rickshaw while he was doing morning walk near his residence in Shamirpet on June 16. He was undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital where he died on Friday morning, according to Karkhana police.
In a separate case, P Raju, 65, died of injuries which sustained on June 14 after he was hit and run by an unidentified vehicle in Jubilee Hills police limits. He succumbed on Friday while undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital. He was a plumber and resident of Rahmat Nagar in Yousufguda.
