KTR financial aid to 'Vedam' Nagaiah Kalvakuntla' Taraka Rama Rao, IT Minister of Telangana has extended great Support to Artist Vedam Nagaiah who is in financial problems. Few days before we have reported that Nagaiah who played role of Sirisilla Ramulu is on deep neck of troubles and begging on Film nagar roads for survival.
KTR met this talented senior actor and also handed him a goverment's pension of Rs. 1 Lakh which is sanctioned for senior film artistes. KTR has spoken to Rajendra Prasad exclusively on this regard and requested the latter to assist Nagaiah and other senior actors of his sort for any help needed.
KTR posted the picture of himself with Nagayya on Twitter and he informed the same by tweeting 'Met 'Siricilla Ramulu' aka Nagaiah Garu'today. Handed over Rs.1 lakh as assistance from my side. Also arranged for old age artist pension through Govt. Spoke to Rajendra Prasad, president of MAA to also assist. Nagaiah incidentally is native of Guntur'.
Indeed a nice gesture from Telangana minister. More such cordial initiatives are needed from the respective governments of two Telugu States.
