TS Govt releases Rs. 5 Cr for Ramzan arrangements Hyderabad, June 29 (INN): The Telangana Government on Monday released Rs. 5 crore for the repair of mosques and Idgahs across the State in view of holy month of Ramzan.
As per usual practice, a review meeting was convened by Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali, along with all public representatives on 28th May to review the preparedness and steps to be taken in view of the ensuing month of Ramzan. In the meeting all the public representatives have represented for sanction of funds for taking up Minor Repairs, Renovation, Leakages to Roof, Whitewash, Toilets, Wazukhana, Electrical Repairs and Replacements of Items etc., to those Mosques and Idgahs, which are not having any income.
While considering the proposal, the State Government ordered for sanction and release of Rs. 50 Lakhs to each district for taking up the works as mentioned above in Mosques and Edgahs.
