Pictures of ex-PCC chiefs removed Hyderabad, July 4 (INN): A group of angry Congress leaders on Saturday has removed all the picutres of former PCC chiefs from the Gandhi Bhavan, the party headquarters.
The Congress workers removed the pictures of K Keshava Rao, Botsa Satyanarayana and Dharampuri Srinivas. While KK and DS have joined the TRS, Botsa has recently joined the YSR Congress Party.
Speaking to media persons later, Rajya Sabha MP V Hanumantha Rao and former MLA R Damodar Reddy described D Srinivas as an opportunist. VHR said that despite serving as minister for two terms, Srinivas did nothing for the development of Backward Classes. He alleged that Srinivas earned crores of rupees by selling away party tickets to aspirants in two general elections and by-elections.
VHR also claimed that Greater Hyderabad Congress president D Nagender would not leave the party.
