TITA celebrates Bonalu in IT Corridor Telangana Information Technology Association (TITA) celebrated "Bonalu" festival at a grand scale here on Sunday.
The event titled 'TITA Telangana Bonala Jathara ' 2015' was organized in the IT heart of Hyderabad - the Hitec City. Bonalu, now declared the State festival of Telangana, is celebrated as a Thanksgiving to Goddesses Mahankali who helps her devotees to ward of evil and keep away diseases.
TITA Bonala Jathara is a annual event celebrated in the IT hub of hyderabad at Hitec City which attracts a huge gathering from different sectors, especially the IT sector with IT professionals and Corporates being the major audience. The procession was flagged off from Shilparamam by TRS MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha and proceeded to Chinna Peddamma Temple with much fervor and grandeur. At the temple TITA members performed special pooja to goddess mahankali to bless the state with health wealth and happiness and for the IT industry to prosper in a big way.
This event was witnessed by affluent audience from the IT sector and graced by Union Labour Minister Bandaru Dattatreya, TNGO President Devi Prasad, Guvvala Balaraj, Banda Chandra Reddy, AK Goal and IAS officials.
'Bonalu is the state festival of Telangana and we are glad that this event made the importance of the festival to be known to everyone from the IT sector. We are happy to celebrate this festival as a family and hope our prayers are heard to make the state even more prosperous and reach new horizons. We offered 25 Bonalu to Pedhamma Thalli and prayed to double the IT Exports in next 5years from this exports of 66,000 Crores,' said TITA President Sundeep Kumar Makthala
'This year TITA Bonala Jathara was organized in association with TDF -USA and we are very thankful for their support. Since 2010, Bonalu- has been celebrated by TITA with much enthusiasm every year. And this year it turned out to be even more magnificent,' said Ranapratap Bojjam, Vice president TITA.
