Mahankali murder mystery solved, one held Hyderabad, July 28 (INN): Within 24 hours of commitment of offence, the Mahankali Police on Tuesday apprehended a push cart tiffin centre for murdering his employee.
According to police, the accused, B.Sai Kumar (38) of Kalasiguda murdered his employee Ratnam (33), a native of Chittor district, near Swapnalok Complex on Monday in broad daylight.
The accused was running a Tiffin center on push cart near Swapnalok Complex, which is very near to his residence. The deceased was working with accused on push cart for the last one month. It came into light that Sai Kumar was having differences with another push cart vendor nearby.
Prior to the incident on Tuesday, Sai Kumar and Ratnam went to Nallagutta and consumed liquor with a friend of accused Sai Kumar. While getting down from the auto-rickshaw Ratnam told Sai Kumar that his rival offered to pay Rs. One lakh if he eliminates him. Sai Kumar pushed Ratnam out of Auto, went away and came back with in no time. He got down and slit the throat of Ratnam with sharp instrument, causing him severe blood injuries and went away in the same auto. Ratnam died immediately.
On getting the information, Mahankali Police led by ACP V.Thirupathi and Inspector K. Satyanarayana reached the spot and verified the scene of offence and made efforts to trace the identity of the deceased and accused.
Police teams verified CC Cameras around the scene of offence and got a clue from one of the cameras, which led to identifying accused Sai Kumar committed the offence. Then Police teams put efforts to trace accused Sai Kumar.
