GHYA pays rich tributes to Dr. Kalam Hyderabad, July 28 (INN): Activists and leaders of Greater Hyderabad Youth Association (GHYA) paid rich tributes to former President Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam.
The GHYA took out a candle-light march at historic Charminar on Tuesday night. GHYA Chairman Mohammed Irfan, Joint Secretary and INN Editor-in-Chief Waliullah Sameer, Charminar Inspector A Yadagiri and others recalled the services of Dr. Kalam for the nation. They said the ideals and teaching of Dr. Kalam would continue to ignite the minds of youth across the country. Dr. Kalam not only developed scientific temper among the youth, but inculcated an indomitable spirit filled with new thoughts and energy.
The GHYA leaders described Dr. Kalam as the most popular President of India who ruled over the hearts of crores of Indians. He was a great scientist, teacher and a visionary leader. The country will always remember Dr. Kalam for his selflessness and generosity as he has touched every Indian with his great intellect and utmost compassion. He has taught youth to learn from failures in order to achieve success. They recalled Dr. Kalam's association with Hyderabad. As the DRDO chief, Dr. Kalam had spent a lot of time in this historic city and liked its culture and atmosphere. GHYA Chairman Irfan said he was participating in the programme despite severe ill-health due to the inspiration he derived from the life of Dr. Kalam, who worked till his last breath.
GHYA activists Adil Adil Al-Idroos, Mirza Maozam Baig, Shaik Nayeem, Mohsin, Praveen Kumar and others were also present.
