Kavitha open letter to CBN on Girl's Suicide Ragging snuffed another innocent young life. In the recent times Rishikeswari, student of Acharya Nagarjuna University committed suicide.M Rishikeswari (18) ended her life unable to bear the harassment by her seniors at the Acharya Nagarjuna University Architecture College
Rishikeswari, a first year B Arch student from Warangal, was found hanging from the ceiling of her hostel room. A suicide note titled 'My Last Note' gave a detailed account of the harassment she faced from her senior students.
The issue is slowly getting attention as it believed to be a brutal ragging attempt. Nizamabad MP Kalvakuntla Kavitha wrote a letter to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister about the isse.Asking the CM to thoroughly investigate on the incident, Kavitha appealed to the CM that ragging should be stopped in universities and colleges. She asked CM to make sure that the investigation will happen neutrally.She added that there have been reports on involvement of children from high profile families and that it should be cleanly probed.
