Survey: Indians like smartphones more than $ex That smartphones are fast gaining the status of 'lifelines' would not be an overstatement. At least that's what a recent survey seems to have found out. According to the latest survey conducted by Motorola 74% of Indians have revealed that they used to sleep by holding their smartphone.
In more startling facts, 22% users said they would give up sex if they had to part with their smartphone. And in India, that number stands at 35 percent means one third of the people ready to give up their sex for smart phone. Only 39% of the affected were 'happy' with their smartphones, and 79% were not happy as they feel their devices interrupted them at intimate time.
The findings state that 83 percent Indians keep smartphones on their body or within reach throughout the day, they sure don't keep partners that close! Motorola conducted the survey online among 7,112 smartphone users in the US, UK, Brazil, Mexico, Spain, China and India.
