Four killed in road accidents Hyderabad, Nov 2 (INN): In separate cases, four persons were killed in different road accidents in the city and its outskirts.
In Maheshwaram police limits, an 80-year-old woman, K. Mutyali, of Kondaliguda, succumbed to the injuries which she sustained on October 21 when she fell down from the scooter being driven by her son Srinu. She was admitted to the Gandhi Hospital where she died on Sunday night.
In another case, Gangaram Yadav, 70, died of grievous injuries which he suffered when the bike he was riding was hit and run by another motorcycle near Mahankali Flyover on Sunday night. He met with the accident while he was returning to his home in Sitaphalmandi in Secunderabad. He was declared brought dead when taken to Gandhi Hospital, according to Mahankali police.
In a separate case, Anil Paul, 35, a lorry driver, died on the spot after he was hit by another lorry on Kukatpally Road on Sunday night. Paul was a native of Uttar Pradesh. On Sunday he came to the city in his lorry. Following some problem in the engine, he parked his lorry on the roadside and was checking the fault. A few minutes, he was hit by a speeding lorry from behind, according to Kukatpally police.
In the last case, VM Chary, 34, was killed was his friend Bhangari was injured when the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by another unidentified bike in Saroornagar police limits on Sunday night. Chary was a resident of Balaji Nagar near Shaikpet.
