Selection for the Army Boys Sports Company
Hyderabad, April 25 (INN): Selection for the Army Boys Sports Company of Army Ordnance Corps (AOC) will be conducted at the Thapar Stadium of AOC Centre in Secunderabad from 2nd to 5th May. The selection will be held for Swimming, Weight Lifting and Athletic categories.
Those who are in the age group of 11 to 14 years (born after 01 May 2002 and before 01 May 2005) are eligible for Athletics & Weight Lifting and 09 to 13 years (born after 01 May 2003 and before 01 May 2007) for swimming category.
Interested candidates have been asked to report at the venue along with their original Date of Birth Certificate (issued by Municipal Corporation/ Registrar of the birth and deaths), original of education certificate, Sports kit for participation in selection trials for respective games, Certificate of participation in district and above level games, if any and six copies of latest passport size photographs of the candidate.
Selected candidates will be provided free academic training from VI to X standard. It is mandatory for the boys enrolled to join the Army should be 17 years and 6 months of age after passing 10th standard.
