Harish Rao slams T-TDP leaders Hyderabad, May 29 (INN): Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao said that the Telangana Government need not take permission from leaders of Andhra Pradesh to construct irrigation projects in the State.
Speaking to media persons in Medak on Sunday, Harish Rao said that the State Government needs the nod of Telangana people to go ahead with the proposed irrigation projects. It was least bothered about the stand of AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu or APCC Chief N. Raghuveera Reddy on Telangana's irrigation projects. He slammed the Telangana TDP leaders for supporting the stand taken by TDP over Telangana's projects during the ongoing Mahanadu in Tirupati. He said people of Telangana might stone the T-TDP leaders if they oppose the State's irrigation projects.
Harish Rao said that the Palamuru Dindi projects were sanctioned during the united AP regime. He asked whether AP Government has taken permission to construct projects like Hindri-Neva, Potireddypadu or Pattiseema.
