ISIS module busted, 10 arrested Hyderabad, June 29 (INN): The National Investigative Agency (NIA) on Wednesday conducted raids at various locations in Hyderabad and detained 11 persons following information about a terror module and recovered arms and ammunitions from them, an official said.
The searches were conducted at Moghalpura, Bhavaninagar, Mir Chowk, Chandrayangutta and Barkas.
NIA officials recovered Rs 15 lakh, 2 revolvers, 25 cell phones, pen drives and explosive substances. The officials said that the group was planning to carry out attacks at public places during the festive season of Ramzan.
Meanwhile, high alert has been issued at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad. Central Industrial Security Force and Rapid Action Force personnel are on alert.
