KCR behaving irresponsibly: Jana Hyderabad, Aug 26 (INN): Leader of Opposition in Assembly K Jana Reddy on Friday lashed out at Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Reddy for his statement that the opposition leaders would be sent to jail for charges against the government.
Speaking to media persons, Jana Reddy wondered as to how KCR would behave irresponsibly by holding a high office. "Whoever violates law must go to jail. But, it is not good on the part of the Chief Minister to threaten public representatives of legal action. KCR should maintain the dignity of the post he is holding," he said.
Jana Reddy said that as an opposition party it was the responsibility of the Congress to remind the government if the latter goes wrong or commits fault.
He also slammed the TRS government for compromising on the height of Tummidihatti project. He said the then Congress Government proposed 152 meters height. "KCR didn't discuss with Maharashtra government on the old proposal and agreed for 148 meters height of the project. Is not it a historical mistake of the TRS government?" he questioned. During the past two years, KCR government has committed several mistakes and has not consulted the opposition on any major issue, he said.
