Its endless wait for double bed room houses: CPM Warangal Rural, Jan 17 (INN): CPI (M) Secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram on Tuesday said that the State Government has no concerns for the poor and this was evident from the fact that the KCR Government did not take up construction of double bedroom houses as promised to the poor till now. Only poor families in Erravelli got double bed room houses, while poor in other parts of the state are waiting for the same for the past two years, the CPM leader said.
Speaking at a programme as part of the party's ongoing Mahajanapadayatra at Khanapuram in Warangal Rural district, Veerabhadram said that the TRS government was indulging in unnecessary expenditure. He said that when poor in the state are suffering, the Chief Minister got a bulletproof house constructed for him. Is this not a wasteful expenditure, the CPM leader remarked.
The CPM leader demanded the government to protect the script and languages of Tribals and ensure that their mother tongue is taught in state schools. He demanded the Chief Minister to set up a taskforce for the purpose and also sought funds to promote research among the tirbals.
