All Arrangements for Vaikunta Ekadasi
Tirumala, 14 December 2018: All out efforts and steps have been taken to ensure hassle free arrangements to devotees for darshan on the crucial day of Vaikunta Ekadasi and Vaikunta Dwadasi said TTD Executive Officer Sri Anil Kumar Singhal.
Inspecting the arrangements in four mada streets, Narayanagiri Gardens along with JEO Sri KS Srinivasa Raju and CVSO Sri Gopinath Jetti on Friday, the EO told media persons later, that the devotee rush for Vaikunta Ekadasi is usually on par with that of Garuda seva during Srivari Brahmotsavams and hence extended arrangements have been made in accommodation, Anna Prasadam, water distribution etc. He said the VQC complex for December 18th Vaikunta Ekadasi darshan will be opened up from 12.30 of December 16th where there would be 28 hours wait. In view of the past experiences, special sheds were also being laid out on mada streets to seat around 40,000 devotees.
EO said the devotees will be sent inside VQC 2 first and then in VQC-1 compartments and later into sheds of Alwar tank lines, Narayanagiri gardens. Later into Special sheds of Mada streets via N1 Gate near Medaramitta. All arrangements are made for toilets, drinking water and Anna Prasadam at all sheds throughout and special steps taken for sanitation and cleanliness. He said work schedule will be given to all officers on lines of Garuda Seva and an action plan is prepared in co-ordination with Srivari Sevakulu, Scouts & Guides, Sanitary Staffs, Vigilance etc. Last year 1.70 lakhs devotees were given Vaikuntha Dwara darshan on these two auspicious days and appealed to devotees to plan their Tirumala visit well so that they need not have to wait for long in queue lines.
