Amaravati: YSRCP has demanded the State Election Commission to take immediate action on the private company IT Grid for securing personal information of the public and the data regarding the voter list.
Party leaders Gopireddy Srinivas Reddy, Kasu Mahesh Reddy and Lavu Krishna Devarayulu lodged a complaint in this regard to the Chief Election Officer Gopala Krishna Dwivedi on Tuesday.

They sought clarification on whether the government provided the data or the firm received the information by other means.
YSRCP leader Kasu Mahesh Reddy said that the Election Commission had released a voter list on January 11 following which the data at the Collector office in Gurazala constituency showed registration of 3,600 votes and deletion of 3,479 votes but the data at the State Election Commission showed only 300 votes being deleted.
