We can identify only that which is known but the present moment is always new and it is a non recognizable entity.
So for the mind, present moment does not exist.
The apparent existence of mind depends either on the past
which is dead or on the future which is a projection of the mind basing on the past and is yet to happen.
The present moment contains the eternity.
I feel that it is better to say that mind does not exist instead of saying present moment does not exist taking mind as the reference point.
