As one of the new blogger/commenter/viewer.. i have this feeling that once we finish with the other blogger's blog one of us end up posting his/her comments in the space.. but for a second we can think few of the below stated tips, we can make blogging/commenting more accessiable and relevant..

Commenting is part of this global conversation. People who make meaningful comments understand that this new Internet is about discussing our common concerns and coming up with solutions in a more expeditious and helpful manner that does not exclude anyone.Comments do act as fuel for many blogger and make them act more responsible for whatever they post in general

If one is an expert, I guess they may just want to keep their "wisdom" on their own blog, but the true conversation participants are those who contribute to the discussion wherever the blog posting is.

There are few techniques for effective commenting that one can try:
1.Write a meaningful comment.

"Yeah" or "Right on" may make the author feel good, but of more interest to conversation participants is "Why do you think it is right on?" If you don't care, don't comment, but if something truly resonates with you and you have something to share, do it!

2.Criticize Kindly(Polite critisism)

All this said, we have a need to disagree with one another. We have a need to discuss things of importance. It is important that we model for children the right way to disagree on a topic and to show that we can do it while remaining civil and not attacking the other's right to their opinion.

3.Remember the power of words

I believe that words can hurt worse than a broken bone. (The false sing song we were taught as children is not true!) Each of us as an educator has the power to build up or the power to tear down.So once we use a postful of words which shoots directly from our response to one whose blog we reqad will surely strike him/her.Words can encourage or discourage.

4.You show the blog author that "you hear them"

Sometimes some bloggers/authors feel like they are only posting to themselves. You can actually influence those you admire with a meaningful comment, blog writers change their opinions all of the time. You can also reinforce opinions you agree with when you have real world examples.

5.You draw attention to your own blog

Remember this, most bloggers read the blogs of those who comment on their posts. I want to know more about the person. I want to see who they are, what motivates them, what are they writing?

But remember, although the blogger and other readers will read your work that is not why you comment. You comment because it is part of joining the conversation! It is the right thing to do when you care about a topic!.. I have seen few people who read blogs of their friends/boss/ some one whom they know and they just stick to those blogs only infact some people even ask the viewers to post their comments .. I somehow feel it bit senseless because if you really feel good or feel like yes the so called topic is good enough to touch your thoughts then only one can comment how can we comment only because of the fact that he/she is someone whom we know and increase their comment traffic...

6.Post a comment genuienly:

This point is something relavent to the above mentioned sentance, like i have known some bloggers who simply post comments(though some are not relavant/intresting/senseless) in a greed that the other blogger will too post his/her comments.. i.e.. There are few people who expect that the other person should also comment just because he/she has posted comment/response to their blog.. Silly isnt'?(I find it stupid:)

7.Need not hit/post comments to popular blogs all the time

Again this is some or the other way sounds rediculous yet true.. there are few bloggers who constantly post their response immediately to some popular blogs(regualar blogger's posts)just to make sure that who ever comments their will have a glance on his/her blogs and thereby he/she will get rise in their comments too(this is one such trick to increase trafficking in their blogs)

8.You cast a vote on the importance of a topic

You'd better believe that when a blogger receives an incredible number of comments on a post that they are going to be writing more about that topic! If you want more from them on that, tell them!.One can post their votes on any new topics and thereby encouraging the blogger further to comeout with an excellent writeup.

9.Beware of Darth Commenter!(For the blogger)

I believe that there are some people who are so abrasive and unhappy with themselves that they retreat to the Internet to reak havok on unsuspecting souls. They are like Darth Vader with a light saber. They like to play mind games and newbies are great targets. They know the psychological stress that unkind commenting can cause in a new blogger and I have no respect for such people.

I say this to warn newbies of the villain you will soon meet if you are a prolific blogger: "Darth Commenter." (I'll call them DC). They are nothing but nuisance.Once his/her motives is traced try to ignore or just delete.

Darth Commenter is out there and his goal is to steal your enthusiasm for blogging with his light saber of unkindness. Do not feel compelled for some "noble" reason to post his comment. Delete Darth and never look back.

And for the blogger try to take all comments as the same..push aside your complexes.. keep a track of all the comments.. good or bad/strong or weak..To the intrest of the comments and move ahead to create an still more fabulous writeup..

new bloggers need not get discouraged or moveoff just with any sort of comments because this normally happens with anyone initally.. it can happen to you to me or to anyone..infact it did happened once for one of my blog but still go ahead take the thought and share it to this virtual world who knows there maybe someone who is eagar/passionate/intelectual/ welcoming your thoughts..

I do not know to which extent you guys understood this posting but do read it with open minds and comment if any of my thought struck your thought!!!

What i meant was towards the way of posting comments in other sites.. Frankly speaking when i was thinking about this topic this site/people/the way comment space now turned into chat space..etcetc..was not at all in my mind.. What i said was when u visit some other blog site(very specially not this site plsssss).. just keep in mind/feel what i mentioned in my blog .. Yes obviously the art of commenting/or posting comments is one such art.. that by itself only we can understand what/how/where the reader is... I have been visitng some science related blogospheres lately and found how relevently the reader put their opinions without any sarcastic yet with good sense of disagreement.. Oh dear frnds.. plss seems u guys took it the other way.. whatever i mentioned it was not something to this plc..why because no matter we are all posting blogs but we are also chatting here and obviously when we all decided that we will have interactions here only then how am i suppose to tell you all how to place your comments.. silly isnt' it.. i m not that stupid..:).. Infact..blogs cheyyatam varake.. but chat anedi kaada ikkada general ga manam chestunnam..ha but blog related chat cum some general chat ..nadustundi..(im still confused here)..
