Hyderabad woman dies in Texas shooting
Hyderabad, May 8 (INN): A young woman from the state died in a shooting in Texas, USA. An assailant broke into the Allen Mall in the suburbs of Dallas, Texas and opened fire indiscriminately. Nine people including the accused were killed in the firing. Seven people were seriously injured in the firing. Among them is Tatikonda Aishwarya from Kothapet, Hyderabad.
She was seriously injured and was taken to the hospital by the local police. But Aishwarya died while undergoing treatment. Aishwarya, daughter of Tatikonda Narsireddy, who is the judge of Rangareddy District Court, went to Texas some years ago to pursue higher education. Their native place is Neraducharla in the Suryapet district. Meanwhile, Aishwarya's death was confirmed by the Telugu community in America and her family members. Efforts are being made to bring her dead body to Hyderabad.
A security guard was also killed in the shooting at Allen Mall. A police officer was also shot dead by the assailant before entering the mall. But the police reached the spot and shot the suspect who was already firing. Police said hundreds of people were inside the mall at the time of the shooting.
